My Response to Parents on Social Media
I feel it is very true, and I believe that parents shouldn’t post on social media because it represent the child in a wrong manner. Photos like these can lead to bullying which can lead into depression. As children in the photo we never understood the importance of first impressions so, we never understood the importance of these photos. This social identity created by these photos will affect us in the future because this photo identifies us in a time that we would all want to forget. This is the time were were small lacking understand but desiring information. This state had an abundance of curiosity, and with this curiosity we have gain experience for the better or worst. Parents just think it is just an experience whether we’re cute or silly, however in the future it affects use greatly.
Personally, I never had any experience like this, however my parents resorted to other methods like simply just showing their friends and relatives these photos in albums. This method helps because it isn’t on the internet forever for anyone to see. If I were in my parents shows, but actually posted thing like these I wouldn’t think much of it as a child’s action is due to their lack of understanding and people won’t patronise the child from acting like this because they are just children and it should really affect them. However, it does affect the child, even though people shouldn’t judge one another by their photos of a child they still do to get an understanding of that child, but the end result photos like these wrongly represent the child in question. My thoughts are that parent should not post online photos because it could lead into direr consequences in the future.
